About the Musicians
We were thrilled to collaborate with the following artists in 2025 who each personally selected a track for War Child presents Secret 7”.
For more than 30 years, War Child has partnered with musicians, labels, and the music industry to release records and create unforgettable events. These albums, performances, and the passionate support of artists have helped raise the funds necessary to support our life-changing work. We're excited to unite art and music through Secret 7".
The Cure
The Cure are considered to be one of the most influential bands to ever come out of the UK. Since being formed in 1978, the band have sold over 30 million albums worldwide, headlined Glastonbury 4 times and been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Frank Turner
Frank Turner has performed at almost every UK venue imaginable, from tiny clubs to stadiums as well as the opening ceremony of 2012 London Olympics. A long-standing friend of War Child’s, Frank also took part in BRITs Week for War Child 2025!


Gregory Porter
Since breaking through almost a decade ago with, Gregory Porter has become a beloved part of the British cultural firmament. He has become known as one of the UK’s favourite contemporary American jazz and soul artists.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor
With a musical career that spans over 25-years, Sophie Ellis Bextor has risen to fame with her hit songs including Murder on the Dancefloor’, ‘Take Me Home’, ‘Get Over You’ and many more. Sophie dedicated a first ever release track to Secret 7” 2025!


Scissor Sisters
Merging from New York's vibrant queer underground, Scissor Sisters bought their signature mix of showmanship and songcraft to Secret 7” 2025. Following on from their iconic reunion, the trio chose ‘Return to Oz’ as their track.
Jessie Ware
Jessie Ware is a British singer-songwriter known for her soulful and sophisticated sound. Her music has received critical acclaim and is characterized by her powerful vocals, emotive lyrics, and polished production.


Keane
Keane’s enduring appeal revolves around the honesty of their songs and the emotion in their music. After celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album in 2024, they took part in Secret 7” 2025 with their track ‘Black Rain’.
